Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Broadway)
This crocheted doll, one of four members of “Tits of Crochet,” is based on the character of Skszp from the Broadway version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch as portrayed by Justin Craig. Details include glittery scarf and shirt, fuzzy jacket, fishnet sleeve, wrist cuff, and and jeans embellished with stars.
I can’t say enough about the members of Tits of Clay, how talented they are, and how kind they all are to their fans. What started out as a random pun eventually turned into a serious mission to memorialize the band in yarn. I couldn’t have done it without their help (especially Tim) providing closeup costume pictures for details I would have otherwise never been able to capture. I’ll be forever grateful for all of the stage door encounters and other interactions that stemmed from this show and changed my life forever!
